Edelman Rome, mainly but not exclusively, acts as Italy’s public affairs and government relations office. Multinationals are based in the Central and Southern part of Italy, and the United Nations Food and Agriculture agencies (FAO, WFP and IFAD) have their headquarters in Rome, as does the seat of the Italian government and the Vatican City. This makes for a versatile mix of clients in the automotive industry, pension funds, pharmaceutical corporations, state controlled companies in the energy and aerospace fields together with the Holy See.

The public broadcaster RAI and other television, internet and telecommunications companies provide multiple networks to access public opinion in a country which is often described as a laboratory for new political and social trends in the 20th and 21st centuries.

Our Roman staff is called upon to teach at universities at the graduate level throughout the country, ranging from business schools to prestigious communications programs.
